Basic Life support and Management of Anaphylaxis
The regulated IQL Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis has been created with support from Anaphylaxis Campaign.
IQL offer both a standalone course and the opportunity to add Anaphylaxis Management to several of our qualification courses. The qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for two years.

The Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis course is four hours and is designed to be delivered in one day. The course comprises of practical work and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment on CPR, AED and use of an adrenaline auto-injector.

Prerequisites
Candidates must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of taking the assessment. No prior knowledge is required.

Course Content
A range of subjects are covered, including:
